Many home owners today want to add extra living space to their homes.  Often this is not feasible because there is just not enough square footage on the Property to do it or it costs too much.  If you own a two story home with cathedral ceilings you can probably add a loft.  It is much less expensive than a traditional room addition and it can be completed in a fraction of the time with fewer headaches.  Most people gain from 200-350 square feet of living Space.  This not only gives you added comfort, but can add tremendous value to your home. The new living space can be used for an extra bedroom, a game room, an office or library, a playroom for the kids or whatever else meets your needs.
